Welcome to the Valley Union High School District #22 website. We are located in the community of Elfrida, AZ in Southeastern Arizona approximately 25 miles north of Douglas, AZ. Valley Union High School serves students from five elementary school districts; Ash Creek Elementary, Double Adobe Elementary, Elfrida Elementary, McNeal Elementary, and Pearce Elementary as well as students from many communities in Southeastern Cochise County.

Valley Union High School prides itself on its academic and extracurricular offerings and success. The school is rated a "Highly Performing School" by AZLEARNS and offers duel-credit/reverse credit opportunities with Cochise College. The school provides students with academic programs such as band, choir, agriculture, business/computers, culinary arts, drawing/painting, pottery, and drama. Our current student to teacher ratio is 11:1. Students at Valley Union High School participate in extracurricular activities such as 8-man Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track, Wrestling, Tennis, FFA, FCCLA, and Knowledge Bowl.

The Basketball games @ Tombstone scheduled for Saturday have been moved to Wednesday February 1. Only the Varsity games will be played.

2/8: University of Arizona student recruiter will be on campus @ 10:30.

2/15: Scholarship and Financial Aid Meeting with Parents & Seniors @ 1:00.

Tax Credit Money: Persons who want to give their $200.00/$400.00 tax credit to the school may do so and give it to any school activity that they may wish.  The form is posted on this web site. Bring the form and the check to the office and a receipt will be issued.  Thank you for your support of all of our students. 

Valley Union High School now offers Season Passes.  Here is the price information:

• All Sports/All Year - 45.00(Individual) -125.00(Family)
• Fall Sports (FB & VB)- 25.00(Individual)     -65.00 (Family)
• Winter Sports (BB, W & GB)- 25.00(Individual)    -65.00(Family)
